I still can't get it to work. I bought a different Bluetooth Stick (CSL nano V4), but same result: it finds the controller as "Pro controller", when selected it says "in progress" for a long time until the controller stops his pairing mode. Then it takes even some time for the message "unable to pair controller to appear.

I'm totally out of ideas. (said so before, I know)

@bemandrill To disable ertm it is easier to change the value of the line in recalbox.conf:
controllers.bluetooth.ertm=1

to

controllers.bluetooth.ertm=0

@joe-berndt yes i have the pro switch controller ,it work on recalbox
instructions:
1: go to the recalbox associate bluettoth controller

2: make a long press on the verry small button at left of usb (you listen a click)0_1584697079938_IMG_9326.JPG

3:press on associate a bluetooth controller at the same time as you press the small button (make a very long press on the small button)wait, your recalbox will have found bluettoth devices including one called pro controller press on it

4:your swith pro controller is detected go to configure controller and your controller is detected
ollow the instructions to configure a controller and your controller will therefore be operational (at each start of the recalbox (the recalbox must find the controller) you have to do a long press on the small button and go to configure a controller and it will appear

So: I tried to reinstall Recalbox 6.1.1 from scratch all over again. 8bitdo pairing suffering from the same problems (cant pair). Tried to pair manually via bluetoothctl, it WORKS - but does not keep paired after a reboot.
I honestly do not know what to do anymore. Cant find older version (6.0) anywhere anymore and 6.1.1 is useless for me if I cant keep my gamepads paired.
If someone have any solutions for this, please let me know.

@alisson-seraggioto which kind of controller ? Internal BT or dongle ? Wich board ? Please give us more details!

@javier-sandoval You MUST have a cable, the DualShock 3 doesn't respect bluetooth standards regarding pairing, and it can only be done with a cable that can transport data, not just 5V

@pepponetv c'est bien beau de déterrer un sujet de 5 mois aussi hein ... Il n'a rien à donner, on appaire 1 pad comme on en appaire 2,3,4, rien ne change

@imnotacucumber you can't have it paired to more than one device at the same time.
