@a_jacobs Unfortunately I think it will be hard to get nfs working. The mount.nfs binary isn't present on Recalbox by default and neither is rpcbind.

It may be possible to compile the nfs-utils package from source, but it will probably depend on a few libraries Recalbox doesn't have.

I'm failling to pair my XBOX one controller with a RPI4 as well. Using Recalbox 7.2 (version 8 does not work for me, black screen, seems not to boot). The controller shows up during BT devices discovery but the pairing fails.

I used retropie with xpadneo driver before, which worked well.

Looking at the Network settings in Recalbox, both the STATUS and IP ADDRESS are showing NOT CONNECTED. When I try connecting to recalbox on my mac using smb://recalbox, I get an error... "There was a problem connecting ..."

I double checked that recalbox and my mac are sharing the same wifi.

Make sure you're using "SSH" and port 22. Putty default connections are for COM port connections.
Have you tried simply using "recalbox" instead of an IP?

Last, can you try either an alternate WiFi router such as your cell phone? Turn on moblie hot spot, connect your PC to your hotspot (might want to try some simple network tests to confirm it's working) then connect your RB to your phone?
Alternatively, you can use a RJ45 ethernet cross-over cable, but that's going to involve a lot more work using DOS commands like ARP.
Either of these will eliminate network rules that may be blocking the connection.

Je relance ce topic car j'ai exactement le même problème. J'ai flashé un dd avec la 6.1.1, le premier boot se passe parfaitement puis le second reste bloqué a l’écran de démarrage.
En mode verbose, j'ai le message d'erreur suivant: xinit: giving up xinit: unable to connect to x server

J'utilise un HP hp t610 thin client - APU T56N AMD avec carte graphique Radeon HD 6320

J'ai essaye de flasher la version x86 et x64, même résultats...
