Can't confirm it.

The game is working just fine for me being on 4.0.1 (updated OTA) while using the standard settings and the PAL (German) version of the game. The md5 is ee2e73781bfc77197da1db51561ea06b

You can use your local network instead of the web manager to do this! It will be faster and it will works.

Which pi are you using ? Are you sure you're running the retroarch fba core ? Or is it pifba ?

Well, looks like I solved it myself.

I believe it was largely due to inadequate power. Purchased a USB power brick with the certified ratings for the pi 3 b+ and it's a world of a difference.

Must have been throttling before.

I use the MAME ROMSET 0.78 and set the emulator to MAME078

Thank you very much, I will change it and try again ☺ and by the way this problem has never occurred me on RetroPie (two months ago I was a RetroPie user) with mgba, I suggest to the devs to check what happends and if it is posible fix it for Recalbox 4.1 I will thank you a lot 😀

I use that game, what you will need to fix that is to go to the main RetroArch's in game menu, go to the quick menu, controller and there you will need to put the 2P's gamepad as a normal controller instead of multitab, doing that you will solve the issue

is there any log file where i can read what's wrong?
