I am lucky enough to own a nee geo cabinet so did not really try the emulator, I just used some of the games in the mame set. Anyway I have also tested it for you and works perfectly. I copied the neogeo.zip and a few versions of shock troopers. Well power off your recalbox, unplug your your hard drive and check it on a computer Recalbox should have automatically created a whole directory structure under /recalbox/share  (or just /share I don't remember) then just copy your roms into /recalbox/share/roms, replug it into your recalbox, restart the recalbox and all should be ok

Thanks - I was having the same issue and that seems to have fixed it.

You don't need clrmamepro if you have the right romset. For most games you need the related bios zip file in the same folder (mame rom folder) for instance neogeo games need neogeo.zip from the full romset to work

thanks for reply i see the solution   You must connect the recalbox on a DVI screen but you have a black screen ? Just edit the config.txt file, and comment the line hdmi_drive=2 with a # : #hdmi_drive=2   but where config.txt in recalbox? i have found   in sistem "recalbox" but now config.txt no thanks in advance

An update: the emulator keeps saying "no BIOS found expect bugs" even though there is a BIOS in the BIOS folder.

I had the same problem, but changed the core and it worked. Use the imame4all core.
