Da kommt jemand und stellt in seinem ersten Post hier im Forum Behauptungen auf, (Zitat aus deinem ersten Post "Es wird ja immer geschrieben" ) die er dann nicht beweisen kann oder will. und dann auch noch pampig wird, wenn man ihn danach fragt.
Wenn hier im Forum dieses Thema schon "2mal eröffnet" (ebenfalls ein Zitat aus einem deiner Posts) wurde, so kannst du doch sicher die Links dazu posten.

Willst du aber sicher nicht.
Ist auch egal, ich habe keine Lust mehr hier mit Leuten zu diskutieren, die, wie bereits gesagt, Behauptungen aufstellen, die sie nicht beweisen können oder wollen.
Du brauchst dich auch deshalb nicht weiter bemühen hier eine Antwort zu posten, da ich diesen Thread nicht weiter beachten werde.

@arne Unfortunately our documentation is out of date, but we already know that and we are working on new documentation, I don't know how long it will take to make it publicly accessible, but we are doing our best to make it as soon as possible.

What do you need to set a static IP since version 6.1 (and it works on version 7.2.2):

Edit the recalbox.conf file in the part:

## Wifi - static IP ## if you want a static IP address, you must set all 3 values (ip, gateway, and netmask) ## if any value is missing or all lines are commented out, it will fall back to the ## default of DHCP ;wifi.ip=manual ip address ;wifi.gateway=new gateway ;wifi.netmask=new netmask

Note what the instruction above the commands says:
"If you want a static IP address, you must set all 3 values (ip, gateway, and netmask), if any value is missing or all lines are commented out, it will fall back to the default of DHCP"

Remembering that it is necessary to remove the semicolon ( ; ) in front of the commands for them to be recognized (lines with semicolons in front are "commented", as the instruction says, and this disable the command).

You probably have one of the 3 values wrong or missing, or you forgot to remove the semicolon in front of the commands.

If you're sure you're following these instructions correctly and still have problems, the problem is probably with your modem settings (in which case, it might be easier for you to set a static IP directly on the modem).

@twistedd85 I believe that there is no specific place for this, but, have you tried to edit this part of the static IP for the wifi and check if it doesn't work for the Wired Connection?

Why you did not keep Recalbox with Dynamic IP.
Then in your DHCP settings, your profide a fixed IP linked to MAC adress of your recalbox ?

@tekkenism Actually, assigning a static IP directly in the target machine on a DHCP network is not the best way. Doing so, there is a risk for the IP to be re-assigned to another machine by the DHCP.

Most of the DHCP available in internet boxes have options to reserve and assign IPs to MAC addresses. This way, there is no risk of conflicting IPs

Most home internet box and routers have everything you need:

Regarding port forwarding, most devices have PAT/NAT option taking a hostname or an IP. Just configure your target machine using its hostname: RECALBOX

Then, if you still need static IP addresses, most devices allow to reserve and assign IPs to devices identified by their MAC addresses. IMHO it's the cleaner way to assign static IP in a home network.

If it's still not enough, pick up an IP address outside the range of your DHCP, and fill in the required fields in recalbox.conf:

wifi.ip=manual ip address wifi.gateway=new gateway wifi.netmask=new netmask

Well, looks like I solved it myself.

I believe it was largely due to inadequate power. Purchased a USB power brick with the certified ratings for the pi 3 b+ and it's a world of a difference.

Must have been throttling before.

Réponse un peu tardive, mes excuses. En fait, j'ai une vieille neufbox qui fait des caprices avec la réservation DHCP sur wifi... Lorsque je procède avec réservation DHCP, mes périphériques ont accès au réseau local mais pas au Net. J'ai donc opté pour ce bidouillage (je recolle les fichiers écrasés après chaque mise à jour) en attendant de changer de FAI et de box.
