@unik314r Yeah the problem with that is that I build Recalboxes for friends who enjoy games but no zero about how emulators, roms or much in the way technical. So get them to go and rename and delete files is probably asking a bit much from their technical abilities.

@JPMadman79 always use the parent when you can.
The only case where it's better to use a clone if when the parent doesn't work or for some 4-player multiplayer games where sometimes parent or clones are dedicated to a different number of players

not sure what you mean.. I just did the following as per my previous post:

in which I downloaded the Raspberry Pi 3 image recalbox.img (sha1) using link: http://archive.recalbox.com/updates/v1.0/unstable/rpi3/recalbox.img.xz.sha1
I unzipped the IMG file and loaded the image on a fresh new Micro SD card using Win32DiskImager and rebooted the system.
