It's not like it's difficult to do a backup of your roms and it's suicidal to not do it anyway

@voljega Looking forward to FB-Neo. I understand that Beetle-HW cannot be supported on current hardware (RPi3 & OdroidXU4). The reason I mentioned it was that (according to a RetroPie forum) RPi4s supports Open GL ES3.x, thus making a Beetle-HW core viable. I hope this is possible, but I have little technical expertise on this topic so I thought I'd ask the RecalBox dev team whether they had plans to incorporate it in the new builds.

It's a fresh install. I don't update.
I add this lines to retroarch-core-options.cfg file:

beetle_psx_hw_cd_fastload = "12x" beetle_psx_hw_cd_access_method = "async" beetle_psx_hw_internal_resolution = "4x"

Then I started the game, but the settings were not applied. If I reopen retroarch-core-options.cfg file, it looks as if I haven't edited it.

Apologies if this was asked...I can't figure out how to search just this thread.

NDS ROMS (.nds) are not launching for me...black screen then back to ES. I was having the same issue with Gamecube but remapped my controller is ES and that fixed the issue. However, NDS still continues to be broken.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Seems that the Desmume core is missing...

I changed the default core to MelonDS and it works as expected.

I manually added the latest nightly Libretro Desmume core to /usr/lib/libretro (had to rename it to desmume_libretro.so as the new naming convention is desmume2015_libretro.so) and it is working as expected.

@cheungbx Thanks for your description! Tried that with 4.4.13-v7and always receive a segmentation fault after this:

Have a Pi 3b.
