@tdelios startup your recalbox, with a keyboard plugged in
On the frontend screen, press F4 to quit EmulationStation, then ALT+F2 to get a terminal.
Type
# ifconfig
you'll get you MAC@

(then, type # /etc/init.d/S31emulationstation start to exit this terminal and start EmulationStation)

@sylvester Yes it's true, but extremly negligible.
As RPi3 is powerful enough to provide a (very) correct 16bits emulation, I bet you won't be disturbed by anything.
It's worth trying 😉

Hi,

the .gdi file is only a cue sheet (how on psx system the .cue file).
Yes, you need also the game files.
Create a folder per game and copy your .gdi, .raw and .bin files into the game folder.
You can combine the multiple files when you want. Search on www for Dreamcast gdi2chd converter. The output is a single .chd file.

All my roms are in sd card 32gb sandisk.

Try with another new 16gb and its the same with a fresh install. Roms already in the recalbox image start only once ( with stripes on the screen and i can hear the sound if the game) and after no one work.

I've try to reboot and put default to videomode and it not work...

@voljega usually they are even. The red one is smarter but the grey one is stronger 😄

There is no support for custom version you find on the internet, it's absolutely impossible to know what the people who made the version did exactly in it.
And 4.0.0 is one year old.

have a look at https://github.com/recalbox/mk_arcade_joystick_rpi#loading-the-driver, i'm not sure recalbox has that feature. The parameters can be edited in the recalbox.conf. But you'd need Recalbox 4.1 at least. But I can't tell for sure we handle that for now

@mr-kilroy you can still tweak the emulator for better perfomances

@tdelios I don't think it has anything to do with winzip : you have to detect pairs of files with the same name but not same extension and compress them together, this looks more like an external script to write than anything that winzip is able to do

Also I would use 7zip whic has a lot of command lines options
