@rustymg we should be thinking in a sort of „Recalbox wall of shame“ where all those are listed and also, adding to the ES splash screen or similar a note about recalbox being free, comercial use is prohibited and stuff like that.

The problem is probably HDMI to VGA converter. And I do not say that specifically your model is the problem, I say that when there is an HDMI to VGA converter there are usually problems.
@radnox There is no support in any way for versions other than the official one, especially illegally sold recalboxes, which is totally prohibited by recalbox licence.
@tekkenism Actually, assigning a static IP directly in the target machine on a DHCP network is not the best way. Doing so, there is a risk for the IP to be re-assigned to another machine by the DHCP.
Most of the DHCP available in internet boxes have options to reserve and assign IPs to MAC addresses. This way, there is no risk of conflicting IPs
@bryceone I already have no suggestions ... how do you connect the PC to the monitor: VGA cable? Do you have an adapter? What is your monitor? Have you tried another?
