From my experience, the troubles with the encoders have always been due to tiny, f***ing, missed details, from taking wrong shortcuts, and so on... 8-P

@krlitosmtnez buenas, al final conseguí solucionarlo con las indicaciones de la wiki (Adding your own keyboard encoder). Ahora he instalado la v6 y tengo que volver a configurar de nuevo pero no creo que haya mucha diferencia.

@northblue just do it with EmulationStation it causes no trouble and you can do it as much as you like.

Yeah IPAC2 gave me a lot of trouble too, I never upgraded my bartop from 4.0 for fear to not be able to configure it again !

@crimsonblaed noprob had a few weeks of scratching my head myself when I tried to make my ipac2 work, turns out if was just the line in recalbox.conf was doubled 😄

@Ismail-Banderker no they don't change at all unless you messed with something or didn't properly configure yiyr controls in the Emulation Station menu.

But some emulators don't have access to all hotkey shortcuts such as N64 or FBA

@mrt88 The easiest way to edit recalbox.conf is toplug your pi on the network and go to http://recalbox/ or http://recalbox.local/ if you're on MAC/Linux

t'inquietes, je suis là. Tu ne perdras pas la config ES de tes sticks, mais juste au pire (et encore j'en doute) le lien dans /recalbox/share_init/system/configs/xarcade2jstick. d'ailleurs ca vaudrait le coup que je fasse regarder aussi dans le share et non le share_init ... Trop de trucs à faire jean-pierre ... trop de trucs à faire ...
