@Mathieu-Shamok-Poirier effectivement, si tu réinstalles les fichiers .conf après l'utilisation d'un reset usine des paramètres, tu lui retire toute son utilité !

I found a solution!!!

For anyone who also wants to use a 3 button Sega controller, there is an option in the Retroarch menu under Settings—>Input—>Menu Toggle Gamepad Combo. You can set it to Hold Start for 2 seconds to bring up the Retroarch menu.

I’m still waiting on my controllers to be delivered, but I would imagine that I’ll also need to edit the Recalbox controller config file to remove the Hotkey from my 3 button Sega controller.

Edit: I just tested this on another controller and it works perfectly! I set the “Hold Start for 2 Seconds” to return to menu option. I then edited the Emulation Station input config file and set the “Hotkey” button to a number higher than my controller had. I found that if I removed the Hotkey completely, Recalbox would then ask me to reconfigure the controller.

@dforce La batocera no es "primo" de Recalbox, es un sistema derivado de Recalbox, pero creado por otro equipo. Si necesita ayuda con batocera, debe ir al foro de batocera. Una de las reglas del foro Recalbox es no admitir versiones modificadas del sistema, y batocera es una versión modificada de Recalbox, que no se admite aquí.

Hummm si c'est juste une histoire de 50/60Hz, je ne comprend pas trop pourquoi autant se prendre la tête.

Les 2 cores mégadrive, picodrive et genesisplusgx ont tout 2 des options pour modifier à la volée les fréquences de fonctionnement. Si on laisse cette option en mod automatique, si on démarre une rom EU (pal) elle tourne en 50fps et si on lance une rom NTSC-U/J cette dernière tourne en 60fps.
Les 2 émulateurs gèrent cela très bien en automatique.

Donc un système mégadrive unique avec un set PAL/NTSC mélangé ne pose pas vraiment de problème si l'on souhaite faire tourner les jeux à leur fréquence d'origine.

@davros1969 I'm using the powerswitch script and to make it work, 2 wires on pin 5 & 6, make them touch each other when moving the power button.

You just need some glue, a screwdriver and a bit of patience 🙂

I also tested it out with a random megadrive game to use it zipped and that also did the trick.

@Protoss muchas gracias por tomarte el tiempo de hacer esta contribucion. Pero la solucion es aun mas simple... Hacer un PR (pull request) en GitHub para que esta regla sea agregada por defecto y sin necesidad de hacer nada (en versiones futuras).

Por si acaso, la regla para NES no ha sido agregada porque al usuario en el foro frances no le funciono.

@Toni-Krüger that's just my personnal opinion, but i believe not. Such cable is made to "convert" usb to rs232, but you still need a driver on the OS side
