Can't play to J-Card Genesis games in 4 players mode

Thoose games (like Mircomachines 96) were J-Card games with two controller ports allowing to paly it in 4 players mode. Is there a way to play it in 4 players, maybe by emulating a multitap mode with recalbox I couldn't manage to do it.
