@tdelios Just a single file per MAME version/folder, a lot less annoying than changing the core for every single game using the UI menus.
And no, there is no plan to split MAME into version.
Recalbox is currently supporting AdvanceMame, MAME2000, 2003, 2003+, 2010 and 2015 (maybe more in the future). It would be even more confusing than having a single folder.

@tdelios once again no what you say about mame is wrong, you don't even seem to know what a mame romset is...

So learn.

And 'as a developer' ok man just do it then, recalbox team will gladly accept your commits.

Everything is not as simple as it seem to the uninformed.

Anyway, having this integrated with recalbox.conf could be a good feature to have 🙂

@marcdk I think no one among the team will ever work on such a feature. Otherwise just make an overlay for retroarch by yourself, and set your shortcut in that overlay + edit retroarch config file to use that overlay.

Reicast is a stand alone emulator and doesn't support such functions. Otherwise I would have added key combos

Sorry, my bad. I'll be using that menu a lot now.   ...no offense intended, but if old topics are b*mped it's usually because the online documentation isn't complete. Or perhaps the various languages and forums are detracting from search engine results?
