A little pain to set... but if you use the main emulator as source (the plataform which has the majority of the games) the process will not take that long.
The Street Fight 'series' for example:
The M.A.M.E. is the main platform - i just added the FBA LibRetro (for CPS3 games) and PSX (for some Vs games).

There was no attitude. It was simply the most important issue to establish, as 99% of the time, people have problems getting MAME running due to not being aware that they need a specific Romset to match the core they are using.
Your question was vague with very little information given.

@KaraK_VarN I have plans to better code working status and add bios/driver and hardware system to the sheet in a not near future to make such automatic extraction more easy.
