@Michael-Baudino thanks, that points to a problem outside the gsplus source... perhaps with SDL. Does Recalbox use the default SDL2 distro package or grab a newer source version? -Matt

Seems like Rufus did the job. At least it finished without error message and the installation screen is now running on my GPi 🙂

Still strange that etcher works fine with other images, but doesn't like RB 7.0

Not load of the system in background here 😕 . Right now I checked it again several times with same result. As example in the next case, if I set a custom video in folder bootvideos with this configuration in recalbox.conf
system.splash.length=30
system.splash.select=custom

The system is delayed 30 seconds more in startup. The spashscreen with pacman and the load of emulationstation appears after the video is played.

@Anthony-Key As far as I know, it is not possible to remove the retroarch menu, what you can do is to configure in the mapping of the shortcut keys, some combination different from the standard to open the retroarch menu.

@hitmaker Your SD card is probably corrupted.
You can try to recover it with Windows, but, it may be necessary to reinstall the system and, perhaps this will not even solve ...
The recommended is to use a small SD card for the system, and put the ROMS, BIOS and other things in external storage.
