RE: GPi Case forces PiSnes
Changing in the advanced emulator settings only works for the current session and setting is lost after GPI switched off.
Next time you switch on the gpi case the emulator is set to PISNES again.
On other systems setting is saved, for example if I setup GBA emulator. But now I tried to edit the Metadata and it looks like this settings are stored.
So I need to change for every single game, but this seems to work. -
GPi Case forces PiSnes
I have Recalbox 7.1.1 running on a PiZero W in a GPi Case.
Every time the system starts up the Emulator setting for SNES is set to "PISnes".
I want to use Snesx2002 because PiSnes does not support the retroarch menu by Hotkey + Y and also does not support Retroachievements.
I can change the settings of course, but they are not saved after the GPi was shut down. For other systems the settings are stored, however.
The problem is: If I forget to set to Snesx2002 and start a game with PiSnes, the savegame is completely lost. How to fix this behaviour?
thanks

RE: Cannot flash Recalbox 7
Thank you.
Seems like Rufus did the job. At least it finished without error message and the installation screen is now running on my GPiStill strange that etcher works fine with other images, but doesn't like RB 7.0

Cannot flash Recalbox 7
I am unable to flash Recalbox 7.0 to a SD Card using BalenaEtcher.
The process always stops with a message "Something went wrong. If it is a compressed image, please check that the archive is not corrupted."I tried two different 32GB SD Cards.
I tried Balena Etcher Portable Versions 1.5.60 / 1.5.70 and 1.5.109
I tried Recalbox images for Rpi3 and Rpi0, downloaded them several times.I keep getting the same error again and again.
The etcher software and the SD cards seem to be OK, because flashing the old Recalbox 6.1.1 or other images work just fine.
