Now i can see the update on the GUI and now is been downloaded, so we can confirm a network issue that perhaps some ISPs block the port and not others. E.g same VPN connected to Spain did not work, but the one to France it is.

@matrix99989 that's most of all a problem with the settings of your TV. Mine also had some overscan on 720p until I properly configured it.

I ended up doing a re-install; but there is clearly a bug somewhere linked to controller settings and mame. I wish I had been able to isolate the issue.

@substring I was just trying different options. I changed it back to DMT 4 and the problem still exists.

I assume my problem has to do with some combination of video config options and the settings in advanced emulator configurations, but I can't seem to figure it out.

I solved it. My TV is 720p so instead of forcing 1080p mode I set this in config.txt to set it to 720p:

hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=4

@oyyodams That was it, weirdly on my 1:1 disk copy from one NUC to another I didnt include the whole BIOS folder, no idea why but hey, wont complain about such an easy fix! I didnt know that the MD5 were pa**ed from the readme.txt file ! Thanks again

I have also build a new clean boot and game USB drive from 17.12.0.2 and only added one PSP game. I get the same issue, and it does not matter which PSP games, it fails on all of them, and I have tested 5.

Is anyone else having scraper issues with PSP on the PC/x64 version of recalbox?

Hi, even now, 3 years after this topic has been created the issue still exists. I'm now on Recalbox version 4.1.0. I was able to solve that problem for me to change the Master System core to genesisplusgx in the recalbox.conf. I've added the following line and now I can play Golden Axe Warrior without any problems.

mastersystem.core=genesisplusgx

Its been up and down over the last week but certain parts still work. Weird.
