A way to fix the mega CD problem is changing the preset core to Genesisplusgx. But if the sound probleprappear, there's only one solution for that: complete reinstallation of recalbox on the card...

@gkralicek2 To my understanding, it's a "different story". The dreamcast was outputting sound at ... i don't know ... say 48kHz. If your hardware is only capable of 44.1kHz, then comes down sampling. Alsa is supposed to handle that. And it's supposed to handle any sound distortion (otherwise the downsampling algorithm is a failure ...). Still, I'd be more curious to see if the same 20% retard exists on PC too with reicast, which would helpfondong if it's a hardware problem or an emulation problem.

@ian57 True... but my understanding (from the "manual") was that these settings were for if your display isn't recognised or displaying incorrectly... so as it was displaying correctly for everything - the Recalbox interface, every emulator - except for one emulator, and only one aspect of that emulator, it seemed like the problem with the one emulator was what needed fixing.

It was an insidious problem... and I'm glad to have had the help from you guys to fix it.

@cristian-muñoz it pretty much depends on what kind of romset (eg. no-intro) you are trying to scrape, if the roms are asigned on the database used (or the name matches) and finally the media should exist (game entry wirh screenshots, boxarts, etc).

There are many scrapers available... look in the wiki for SCRAPERS.

@paradadf my network wasn't strong enough for the transfer of files. That's why it wasn't working. I put my usb drive in to pc where I had my roms and transfer them and they worked fine. But roms with multi bin files and one .cue wouldn't work so I just use eboot pdp instead. saves time and space to. Still cant get fds, dreamcast, 3do,pc engine CD are x86k to work.
