I know you solved the post but wanted to mention that the reason changing hotkey combos permanently is not really supported is because the buttons are assigned dynamically to the Retroarch “Retropad” (virtual controller) by the ES front end configuration menu item.

So the button numbers can sometimes change drastically across controllers (e.g. 2 button NES vs PS3 pad). I think the “configgen” script in Recalbox handles ES->Retroarch mapping - if you want to poke around on the Linux side of things.

the best way you can do it is to create a .m3u file :

And then you scrap only .m3u files.

C'est bien ce que je craignais. Au final c'est beaucoup de boulot pour pas grand chose vu le nombre de systèmes que j'ai installés. Ce n'est pas grave, Recalbox est un outil fantastique, je ne vais pas pinailler pour un peu de confort personnel. Je vais m'adapter et m'y habituer. Merci pour ton aide.

For me, it makes no difference what settings it is in. It always behaves like "default". Where might I have to look to track this down?

une modif de retroarch, il faudra checker commits/issues et voir si le point est déjà soulevé.
de toute façon nous déconseillons vraiment le changement de langue de ce menu.
nous pourrions changer la langue de façon automatique en se basant sur la langue de l'OS.
quand un allemand, russe ou chinois viendra nous demander de l'aide, avec des screenshots ou des noms de menus dans sa langue, le support deviendra très sympa.
