Ok, so it is downloading still. For some reason I must have clicked on the sha1, not just the first part. So anyways, I assume the servers are super slow as it is only downloading at 50 to 90 kB/s. I have other things I can do from 1 to 6 mb/s. This is gonna take 2 hours, and after the first 3 times stopping, seems when goes into sleep mode, I changed screen to stay away for a hour. Should be running by tomorrow...lol. Thank you anyhow.

@danielshukron we don‘t support any external image, even less if it‘s loaded with roms. You won‘t get any help here.

Credo che siamo giunti alla soluzione finale che l'unico metodo per inserire le roms o qualsiasi altro file all'interno dell'immagine è solo tramite rete.
ma ciò non toglie che continuerò a provare in tutti i modi per cercare una possibile soluzione per rendere questa procedura meno macchinosa....quello che volevo riusciare a fare avrebbe risolto il problema di molti.

Grazie di cuore a tutti, in particolar modo a voi che avete in tutti i modi cercato di trovare una soluzione al mio quesito. @theknob @Zing

P.S. Se prima o poi troverò una soluzione, sarà mia premura inserirla qui, per l'utilità di tutti.

You could shrink your created image if your handy with linux by mounting the image as loopback, resizing it, then truncating it.

Ok, i do not know any of the developers personally (neither from Recalbox nor of Bxxxxxxx) and i also do not know, what happened exactly (why excatly did it come to a dispute? Why was it not possible anymore, to agree with each other, so that one of the developers did not want to continue working for Recalbox and founded this fork?).
So i do not judge anyone. But i find it really sad.
And in my opinion it is a "kindergarden"-behaviour.
I still hope, that the developers from both systems will agree and get along with each other, so that we users can have the best of both worlds (some things are better in Recalbox and others work better with Bxxxxxx)
