On kodi it's possible but somme addons not work.
On the other hand on recalbox everything is frozen impossible to add a core.
Because recalbox is a full-fledged OS, and a lot of library linux does not exist
I Finally edited the retroarch cores file including upscaling variable as recalbox documentation for parallel says.
And now it works, the online thing that I still doesnt achieve os to set a shader for parallel because i have to set it on game every time I launch one of the games
@jor2404 N64 is a heavy emulator, I don't recommend using high resolution textures on an Rpi4. I have an Rpi3 and I understand that although it is possible to play some N64 games on it, the hardware is not powerful enough to deliver optimal performance in all games. Rpi4 runs much better than N64, but still, the hardware is not powerful enough to be considered excellent.
If you want excellent graphics quality and performance on the N64, you will need a more powerful computer than an Rpi4.
Please use the forum's search tool and check if one of the many posts talking about N64 helps you:
I found that the issue it is not because the use of an external storage.
I reset to factory default and then not using external storage if I match the gamepads the work correctly the problem triguers if I try to remap the buttons using configure control pad then I have the problem that I post and when they work the special key select works wrong because it changes shaders everytime i push it

@jor2404 It is not possible, there is a version of Recalbox for each card precisely because there is a difference in hardware that requires different drivers.
@jor2404 For ONE Rpi4 alone it is impossible.
For a Raspberry pi cluster I can't answer, I've never tried, I can't try, and I have neither the material nor the knowledge to know if it's possible to make Recalbox run that way and what the performance would be, I can't even say if would be financially viable.
@jor2404 I guess you messed up your pad configuration in ES, first of all. Second, it's been explained in the forum (search user nwildner talking about mapping problems on moonlight)
