External storage affects gamepads
-
Hi
I have the next problem. If I try to use an external storage using the two options that recalbox gives to do this every time i start a game the gamepads, in my case two different 8bitdo models are not recognized into the game ans I have to restart the gamepad. If I use only the internal storage for the roms there is no problem with the gamepads.
I tried to use different external storages and switch between the two options of external storages but every time I have the same problem.
So I would like to know if there is something that I can do to use external storage without affecting my gamepads.I am using a raspberry pi 4

Buy a Raspberry Pi 3B+
Install Recalbox 6
Buy a Logitech F310 Joypad and connect it to the Raspberry
Connect a 250GB external HDD to the Raspberry
Put Games on HDD
PlayWorks fine for me since Years !

@jor2404 Hello
Could you join an archive support (when this bug is active)
I'll give it to devs with your post. -
Maybe it's a Disk checking probleme,
I'd same probleme with RB 7.2.1,
i plug the disk on PC and make a chkdsk or disque checking, it's say me no trouble found,
unplug properly the disk with eject it
and replug them on RB and after all thing return in normal placei thing some time the disk don't land correctly or you shut down to rapidly RB
it's my 5 cent idea and it's work for me but cant know if it's same thing for you
Cheers

Hi
I found that the issue it is not because the use of an external storage.
I reset to factory default and then not using external storage if I match the gamepads the work correctly the problem triguers if I try to remap the buttons using configure control pad then I have the problem that I post and when they work the special key select works wrong because it changes shaders everytime i push it
