Boot up ARRM
Untick the "hide .bin . dat" option so ALL the files show.

Highlight all those unwanted files, right click, choose "mark as hidden", job done.
If you then save out that xml file, they wont show in Recalbox.

I had to do that years back with all the "extra" files in my CD32 collection.

Hi! The USB guns that came with my Arcade Guys cabinet are what I'm using. I can move the cursor around, but I can't get the cannons to fire. Is the mapping done in the Tetrarch settings or in the Recalbox controller setup? I am unable to mapping the gun start or gun choose buttons to any of the gun buttons in Retroarch settings; instead, it displays "mouse 1" next to the gun start button?

I solved my problem with the help of my friend.

In Main Menu (EmulationStation) -> Game Settings -> Hide preinstalled games (allows you to hide pre-installed games from your system.)

Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks to the documentation and after some research from my side, I have put the command in the file :
recalbox/share/system/configs/retroarch/retroarchcustom.cfg
Now it is ok.

In 8.1, you will be able to hide all preinstalled games from the menus but at one condition : you must have any other system displayed.

If there is no other system displayed and you selected to hide all preinstalled games, ports will visible despite your choice in the menu 🙂

Isn't it easier for you to hide these files from your gamelist?

@politbureau You need to have access to the network to open the recalbox.conf and set emulationstation.hidesystemview=1 back to 0.

I don't know if it is possible without internet, MAYBE, if you use a Smartphone with Android, there is an option to share the internet (if you edit the network with the same name and password that you use at home), and use an explorer app files (like CX File Explorer) that give access to the network, but, I never tried, it is just an assumption.

What is your Hardware? If it is an Rpi, it is possible to put the SD card in the Smartphone, and navigate to the file recalbox.conf...

@erickson-gutierrez your screenshot show a script that is not present in stock recalbox.
So you are not using recalboxOS.
If you want support, use the forum of the fork that you are using.

Hi, Just remove default roms and the system will not how. You do not have all systems when you install the recalbox because of this feature.
