For anyone stumbling on this thread later:

I tried all possible rom combinations (USA/Europe, Tosec/Redump, etc) and none was working for these 2 games. I started trying to change some Retroarch settings (ex: high level emulation, windows CE, etc) for Flycast and the games started to work. I thought it was the settings, but when I reverted everything to see which one exactly made the difference, the games still worked...

So basically, solution is: touch a retroarch setting, restart the game. Once the game work, revert the setting you changed, and the game will continue working afterwards, even after a full shutdown. 🤷

J'ai testé retropie sur xubuntu 20.04, botacera32 mais j'ai obtenu le même problème.

par contre Xunbutu 20.04 + retroarch + flycast,le jeux project justice sur naomi fonctionne parfaitement.

Merci pour votre travail, je vais attendre tranquillement une mise à jour.

C'est assez vieux cette info, je pense que çà doit bien faire au moins 2 ans que le core supporte les savestates.

Quel enfer ce jeu, y aurait pas eu un joueur du grenier dessus par hasard ? Parce que la gestion de la caméra le mérite... Plusieurs pistes qui me viennent à l'esprit :

mauvais commit de flycast ? il y avait eu quelques régressions il y a environ 2 mois (qui ont normalement toutes été corrigée depuis), certaines touchaient les savestates et vmus je crois. vmus pleines ? problème d'entrée/sortie de la carte sd ? les savestates font 8Mo quand même

Si tu es sur RPI3 essaie des gdi et le core reicast

Yes, I think.
I'm not a developer for recalbox, but it's the recalbox changelog.
I guess it can be removed if it really doesn't work for certain platforms.

Yeah, that's exactly what i was talking about, you'll break any game that use analog & dpad for different things with this setting, that's not necessary limited to the flycast core, it's just that dreamcast happens to be one of the systems that can use dpad & analog for different things.
In the first place this setting is just a horrible workaround for people who want to use dpad to mimic analog controls, but those controls can act differently on original hardware, dpad is a messed-up replacement for analog control, it's impossible to "turn the wheel at 50%" with a dpad.
