@voljega it is already done for 6.1. Homebrew might need special configuration (maybe not), but it should be possible to configure the emulator for them.

Not quite finished but this config might be of help for anyone stumbling upon this topic:

After adding n64.configfile=dummy to recalbox.conf to avoid configgen to generate the button mapping, you can copy this configuration into /recalbox/share/system/configs/mupen64/InputAutoCfg.ini:

Do not forget to delete the garbage characters on /recalbox/share/system/.emulationstation/es_input.cfg

(.emulationstation is a hidden directory!)

I'm thinking about making a PR to erase the configs for the USB connected pads as they will probably don't fix this.

It works for me and has the correct zones. Having said that, it unfortunately doesn't work that well. Pressing up+ forward or up+ back rarely works. Sometimes I have to refresh the page or even exit and reopen the page.

I'm on an iPhone 6s.
