@zing Thanks for the answer,

I will try this as the problem is really annoying. I never had this problem before the 7.2.1... And i use recalbox since 4.3.

I need this to work instantly for both my Pi3 ( using standard USB Snes controller, and Dragonrise Arcade sticks.... ) to be able to map the Analog on HAt... It works when i do it.. but once save, and reboot, it is not working anymore, and i have to remap again and again.

I had the same problem with my NES Gamepad config.
I used every option i can find to remap the buttons A and B but if i reload the NES system my controller config doesnt work.
The eumulator says the same "remap file loaded" but nothing happens.

Hi was möchtest du genau ändern? Im Endeffekt lässt sich ja nur die hotkey taste ändern. Ich habe meinen hotkey auf die select taste gelegt, und die Änderung wurde von recalbox auch gespeichert

@Gaetan I guess I'm not coming across clearly so let me site an example...

Open a game in mame, for example, CONTRA > Make a custom controller input in this game using retroarch then > "save remap file".

The game will save a configuration file in a config file somewhere named "contra.cfg"

Next, open another game in mame for example METAL SLUG. Now this time I want the controls that I've inputed in CONTRA to be the loaded on METAL SLUG so, > "Load remap file" > select "contra.cfg"

I don't know why but I can't load the contra.cfg onto my METAL SLUG controls. I just want to have 1 .cfg file to load to my other game so I don't have to manually change every controls on every game. I know this is possible, I just don't know how.

@jor2404 I guess you messed up your pad configuration in ES, first of all. Second, it's been explained in the forum (search user nwildner talking about mapping problems on moonlight)

for anyone looking to remap buttons on a SNES controller:

1º create file in:
\192.168.1.xxx\share\system.config\retroarch\config\remaps\FCEUmm
name file: FCEUmm.rmp

And for information, this bug is not specific to recalbox, but retroarch. So this impact every OS using it. Actually an issue is discussed, but I don't know if they will find a hack to solve it... So wait and see. https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/2230
