@tdelios Searching in the forum, I found two situations similar to yours:

In one of them, the problem was in the Theme, and using the default theme or another theme solved the situation In the other situation, setting the joystick on the main menu solved the situation.

@stefankrantz you can Indeed save the whole share folder and restore it. But take care :

data must be restored once ES is closed (do this through the webmanager) no idea how much you.ve customised your recalbox.conf, but there could be a few settings that differ between pi2 and pi3

@substring Hmm, that's strange. And that's what I would have expected as well. 😞 Unfortunatelly I now have to remove the whole thing again and hope it will boot after plugging the USB to the original Pi USB connector. As I said, after having done this, everything works fine again.

(according to me, you computer is better... may be laggy for GameCube and Wii ...)

The target sd-card have more capacity than original sd-card.
I dont understadn "\share" folder... In my original sd-card, i dont have any "\share" folder , and my original sd-card works correctly before and after creating the image
