I was able to do it! My steps:

ssh on my recalbox cp /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc ~/.xinitrc add this to /recalbox/share/system/.xinitrc
xrandr -s 1920x1080 uncomment the following line and put my laptop screen :
xrandr --output eDP1 --off reboot!

I use ffmpeg in console to convert videos into different formats to copy to different devices to my doughter 🙂

La version de ES de recalbox tiene tantas modificaciones que los desarrolladores no tienen planes de agregas mas frontends (estan ocupados con otros temas más importantes). yo recien me instale en mi ubuntu de manera rapida attract mode limpio, puse unas roms a mano y puse scrapear y ahi nomas me trajo ya los banners y los videos de cada juego, la verdad muy lindo
