@zing Yes, that's what I believed, and I've already asked the EmulationStation developers
Anyway, I thought it was possible through some .conf file or similar, since when changing according to the language that one selects, surely those texts leave a file either xml or similar

I'm not sure but i think you should put your <text> tag inside a <text> element.

Example :

<text name="TEST">
<text>MY TEXT</text>
<pos>0.48 0.98</pos>
<color>FFFFFF</color>
<fontSize>0.1</fontSize>
</text>

No, as we have some workarounds that work much better. The internal scraper is not something we expect to spend time on

And the GitHub issue you opened two days ago...? Again, I was the one who answered you and gave you the link to a much older issue I opened about the internal scraper search function. If you would have followed the link, you would have read the exact same thing from the very same developer.

My earlier posts were about a seperate issue. I posted that the Scraper wouldn't return results for games with punctuation in them. So now, when I tried searching for text strings and realized that this also seems to be an issue, I asked on this forum if it was just me or another bug.

The difference between you and me is that I don|t need your help. Being so annoyingly insistent about something that has been repetitively answered to you (and others before you) is something nobody here has to tolerate. If I would have the administrative rights, I would ban you from the forum. Good bye!

I'm glad you don't have those privileges because it seems ludicrous to ban someone after asking a very simple question.
