      Bonjour,

      MemoryCard Capture Sakura .gem
      winpsm .ps
      psm .psx
      mc explorer .mci
      bleem .mcd
      pke .bin
      .....

      bon courage

      I figured it out.

My specific issue was because I'm using the Retroflag GPi case. The case's screen requires a patch to be installed to use Retropie. I forgot about it because the Recalbox has an install package specifically for the GPi case (which is super nice) and it just works with the screen/buttons. I've re-flashed Recalbox a few times and I forgot to manually reinstall the patch when switching back to RetroPie.

I have my 1.4tb ROMS folder on my D drive, and just installed Recalbox on a usb stick, that stays in the back of the PC out of sight when I want Recalbox to boot up, and I just unplug it when I want Windows to boot so I can play regular PC games.

First of all, thank you for the feedback

The problem is generally with the resolution and colour depth. Max800x600 256 colours.

Although the i915 integrated graphics card driver should fit, it is not initialised.

For testing I have tested with Ubuntu and Debian. I can get the graphics card to work under both systems.

The type of graphics chip set is that of the Intel jasperlake.

Is there an update in progress ?

      Kind regards
      Don

@eroxx said in I have a bigger SD card than the 128 gb image I first got - how to partition?:

I bought a cabinet that came with the SD card with the image on it, and the settings for controllers/etc are very specific to my system.

Recalbox is FREE and not for Sale, so at last there will be no Support from the "Recalbox-Team".

It would be the best to ask the Company where you bought your Cabinet for Help and Support.

ı downloaded 32GB image file from internet

This is against the Recalbox license, so it's illegal, and we don't support this kind of image on the forum.
Ask for support from whoever modified the image, or download and install the latest official version which probably won't have this problem, but if you have problem with the latest official version then you can ask for help on the forum.

QUELLO CHE MANCA (in maniera assurda direi) a recalbox....

      @263519

      Unless I stand corrected

You don't know all the functions of the program apparently.

And it doesn’t allow you to select partitions only .img

The Program lets you select the partition, you're probably just used to using the program's "write" function, where you choose an image and the partition you want to write the image to.

But, it has a "Read" button for backing up a recorded image, where you select the partition you want to back up (read the comments above), and in the path you put where you want to save the backup image.

Search a little more on the internet to find more detailed tutorials, even on youtube you should find something.

How can he make a mistake using win32

Selecting a partition that is unrelated to Recalbox is an example of a mistake.

@zing said in PSX memory card from .mcd (fpse) to recalbox .srm format converter?:

If that doesn't work, test using MemcardRex and converting your .mcd file to .mcr and then renaming it as I explained above.

Yess! It works! Thank you very much!

      Simplified process:

Take .mcd file (its the whole memory card file from fpse) Use MemcardRex and open it. Save As with .mcr format. Now name it to the exact rom name with .srm format
      And it should work.

@acris So I don't really know how you know that......

But I did order a new 64GB SD Card from Amazon. I used the same adapter from my prior experience. I got it to work, but for others who were in my position and would like a step by step this is EXACTLY what I did:

Insert the SD Card into the adapter and then the adapter into the computer. I made sure Win 10 could recognize it and verified that the format was ex-FAT.

I then ran the SD Card Formatter application from https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/index.html
      version 5.0.1.

I then launched the 1.5 version of Raspberry Pi Imager and selected Erase (format card as FAT32).

I then selected Emulation and game OS and navigated to Recalbox 7.1.1. This time it worked!

So even if you have a SDXC card that is functional, things seem very "tweaky" when you try to set them up for formats they were not designed to support (obviously).

      Hope this helps others!

@Zing Thanks, very useful video. I did not understand that with Recalbox the recommendation is to use external USB. Now that I know this I will start with a fresh installation and add external storage and then load the roms directly to that.
