Bonjour ! A l'instar de Ludo7, je suis également une tanche sur le sujet. Avez-vous une fourchette de temps (6 mois ? 1 an ? Possiblement jamais ?) en tête pour la disponibilité de cette fonction ?

Question bonus : l'extinction/allumage via la l'interface IR est-elle prévue au programme ? (le ventilateur éteint à la rigueur je m'en cogne car je ne monte jamais au dessus de 45° mais pouvoir couper et rallumer correctement et via ma télécommande mon RPI, ça m'intéresse bezef 🙂 !

@Telephone I attached the fan from the argon directly to the rpi5 fan port

Currently the fan only spins durring boot, once recalbox is running the fan doesnt run no matter what the temp is
Is there anything else I need to do to get the fan to run?

les températures de déclenchement se règlent, il y a des commandes pour cela. Va sur le discord, quelqu'un pourra surement te les donner.

@aetherdrive It's hard to say something, you need to test some situations to reach some conclusion.
Try a clean, unmodified install of the latest official version. If possible, on another SD card, so you can run your tests without worrying about the rest of the installation. Try without the case, and without the RGB Dual, if everything works, rule out the possibility that the Rpi is the problem.

Then try adding the case, and finally with the RGB DUAL. Doing the tests step by step, you can find out when the problem arises, and with that it is easier to try a solution.

In my /boot/recalbox-user-config.txt there was various settings at the end for the NESPi4Case and Retroflag cases. For example:

dtoverlay=gpio-poweroff,gpiopin=4,active_low=1,input=1

I commented these out and the install script worked without error. The fan is now running. Hope it helps.

Now I just need to work out why my 8bitdo Pro 2 controllers keep losing connection.

Forgive my ignorance on not knowing, but what do you mean by commented these out?

I’m having the same issue pi4 4gB recalbox 8.0.2 or the newest version as of last week and I run my roms from a USB key drive. Once I run the cue script I reboot and it gets stuck on the black screen with the recalbox logo. Ultimately I have to reflash my sd to fix it all as it won’t even go back into terminal or access through putty.
