      That sounds super frustrating! It should definitely be an easy setup, but it seems like something's glitching with the input. Have you tried using a USB keyboard just to see if it lets you type the password? Also, sometimes a quick reboot or updating the system can fix weird UI bugs like this. If you haven't yet, make sure the Wi-Fi drivers are up to date on your Raspberry Pi as well, as outdated ones can cause issues with connectivity. Another trick is to check if the password is being entered correctly by toggling the visibility of the characters, just to ensure there are no accidental spaces or incorrect inputs. Once you get that Wi-Fi connected, copying ROMs onto the SD card should be a breeze! Hope you get it sorted soon, nothing should stand between you and loading up those ROMs! By the way, if you ever need a break, a visit to eye dr Hoover, AL might be a good way to refresh your eyes after all the screen time. Good luck!

      @Craken If you know how to create a script you can:
      https://recalbox.gitbook.io/documentation/v/francais/tutoriels/systeme/modification/ajouter-votre-propre-script-au-demarrage

      Otherwise, I recommend that you read the links I sent in the previous post, you are not the only one that uses this joystick model, and I don't see other users reporting this type of problem, so I don't think a script is necessary.
      As I don't have this joystick model, I can't test it, so what I can suggest is what has already been done by other users.

      Hi,
      I saw the problem.
      It's having the keybozrd + the joysting that creates the issue.
      Removing keybord is OK to solve
      Thanks

      Hi all,

      this is issue was confirmed as bug in the current version 7.1.1. It could be solved and the fix will be included in the next release.

      See:
      https://gitlab.com/recalbox/recalbox/-/issues/1492
      "V7.1.1 - RECALBOX WiFi intf fails to connect if WPA2 with SHA256 is set"

      CHANGELOG.md for the next version says
      "- Fix wifi support for open, WPA-PSK-SHA256 and WPA3-Personal (#1492)"

      So, also issues with open and WPA3 Personal WiFis will be fixed

      Cheers,
      fredisback81

      @liankain not possible at all and impossible to install also.

      Recalbox is a custom linux built using Buildroot to be as low-weight and dedicated to retrogaming as possible, it doesn't even include apt or any package manager.

      @oak-leaves Hello!
      As far as I know, it is necessary to leave the Wi-Fi visible, even in the Wiki contains the information "Check that your WiFi is in discovery mode":
      https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/debug-wifi-(EN)

      @sirmunkyhead Hi

      so, xboxdrv is not compatible with 4.4 kernel (and later). Looks rather like we may have to patch the kernel so that it understands that it should link the xpad driver to your pad.

      Hello and happy new year!

      I just plugged in a LAN-cable, deactivated WLAN, rebooted to be sure - and everything works fine. No pinging necessary.

      ifconfig output:

      0_1483339998446_IMG_20170102_073301.jpg

      But I still have no idea, why remote access doesn't work when using WLAN...

      Confused greetings from Germany

      René

      The internal bluetooth isn't supported yet. Do you have an adapter?

      If so, just keep trying until it really searches... instant warnings aren't valid.
