That sounds super frustrating! It should definitely be an easy setup, but it seems like something's glitching with the input. Have you tried using a USB keyboard just to see if it lets you type the password? Also, sometimes a quick reboot or updating the system can fix weird UI bugs like this. If you haven't yet, make sure the Wi-Fi drivers are up to date on your Raspberry Pi as well, as outdated ones can cause issues with connectivity. Another trick is to check if the password is being entered correctly by toggling the visibility of the characters, just to ensure there are no accidental spaces or incorrect inputs.
