Now, no sound at all and no option to choose the card in sound settings...please fix this

First, thank you very much for this really fast bugfix release. So far my GPI case works flawlessly. No problems with the already reported navigation problems (D-Pad).

I came across the question if it would be possible somehow to implement a battery indicator for the GPI case or in general for battery driven recalbox devices.

To be honest I have no idea if this is a impossible idea or could it be an option (for the GPI case at least since). Or if we even miss some hardware on the PCB for this?

I would like to share my GPI case mod which I have finished this weekend.
All of the modding ideas came not from my side. All the credits go to this indian guy on Youtube who actually modded his GPI case(s) in a very cool way --> Just search for it on Youtube.

On my side I have decided to change the controls to match the SNES and replace the shoulder buttons to be more practical. Actually the most practical thing is the 4000 mAh LiPo battery / USB charger mod which gives it real added value

I placed the charger in a way that you still can see the charging leds (red = charging, blue = charged) when the cartridge is not plugged. Here some inpiration (Sorry for the bad mechanical work, i have two left hands sometimes ).

Here you can see a "original" recalbox splash video. This one is worse than others (I use two unofficial ones, which fits a little bit better).

I have changed the config accordingly (commented also things like

 #disable_overscan=1
 #hdmi_drive=2

Now it looks much better, but still the video does not match the video (at least on the sides) exactly. But it is already almost good.

I have just tried your suggestions. Unfortunately if I enable all these options I only have sound but the screen stays black. And the sound is very clippering.

First of all I want to express my thanks to you for this phenomenal release.
So far, everything important works for my builds! This is not a matter of course. Thumb up, mates!

I just got one point for my 7" display (HDMI 4 Pi: 7" Display no Touchscreen 1024x600 with Mini Driver): All splash videos are displayed too big for the screen. So I always see only the middle part of the video.
After it ended, the screen is displayed correctly (Pac-Man screen, ES loading screen and so on.)
Is there a fix to also show the splash videos correctly? Do I need to adjust them or is there a setting to be changed?

I noticed that there is no icon for the menu point "Open Source License"
Maybe one can be added in the next release.

Sollte laut Team nicht mehr lange dauern. Leider geben sie kein Release-Datum raus. Es wird gemunkelt, dass es diese Woche noch soweit ist. Aber wie gesagt, es geht halt solange wie es geht

Ich habe auch einen PI4 der auf recalbox wartet, aber Standschäden kriegt er ja zum Glück nicht

Das auf Youtube war eine geleakte Beta-Version.
Keine Angst, du kannst deinen Pi4 bald benutzen, da die Veröffentlichung von recalbox 7 nicht mehr lange auf sich warten lässt. Einfach noch ein wenig Geduld bitte

@Retroman Ich würde die ROMs über den share Ordner transferieren. Einfach im Windows-Explorer mit der IP-Adresse oder dem Netzwerknamen (z.B. \\RECALBOX) den share Ordner öffnen.

Der Zugang über PuTTY erfolgt mit root als Benutzername und recalboxroot als Passwort.

@Retroman Einfach nach SCPH1001.BIN googlen. Die Datei herunterladen und diese dann in /recalbox/share/bios platzieren und fertig.

Bei NeoGeo auch einfach danach googeln. Das BIOS muss dort jedoch im ROM-Ordner und nicht im BIOS-Ordner abgelegt werden. (Falls ich mich nicht irre).

@Exslice Das hört sich alles ein wenig eigenartig an.
Was für eine SD-Karte verwendest du?
Hast du deine recalbox schonmal neu aufgesetzt? Evtl. ging etwas bei der Installation schief.

Für die PS1 empfiehlt es sich die BIOS-Datei zu besorgen: https://recalbox.gitbook.io/documentation/emulators/consoles/playstation-1
Theoretisch sollte es auch ohne funktionieren. Was auch wichtig ist, ist das korrekte Format der ROMs (z.B. .iso, .bin & .cue, etc. )
Bei NeoGeo musst du wahrscheinlich das NeoGeo Unibios deiner Recalbox hinzufügen. https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Use-Neogeo-Unibios-(EN) (Keine Garantie dass diese Anleitung noch stimmt. Sonst einfach mal googeln oder jemand hier im Forum sollte sicher Bescheid wissen)
Für Amiga kann ich dir leider gerade nicht weiterhelfen. Evtl. auch ein Bios-Problem.
