Hello,
On my xu4 with recalbox with update installed. I try to follow your instruction and change the asound.conf :
pcm "hw:0,0".
After a reboot, it just removed the menu stucks timeout.
I still have no sound on kodi and video is freezing after few seconds.
recalbox.conf:
audio.device=auto (try hdmi as well)
audio.volume=100
audio.bgmusic=1
I have all the same infos arcueid mention as bellow.
On the kodi.log I got some error after trying to play a video on youtube:
