No more sound after installing v. 4.1 in recalbox

@lackyluuk the only thing i understand is that kernel modules aren't loaded. So i guess the device is not found by the kernel.

@Dragu do you think you can check in your march version if dmesg finds the hifiberry ?

@dragu you can create a support file. The easiest way is to let it be created by the recalbox manager. There you also get directly a link to the file which you can share

So it really looks like a device detection problem, which can only occur at boot ...

I'll get in touch with hifibery and see how I can get a device. By the way i saw their DAC+ is compatible with the Tinkerboard ^^

Actually I spend much more time with modding and custom stuff than with playing

Problem when you offer your time on internet, it is very quick seen as social sevice, I make this experience in germany but sure eveywhere the same. People dont realize that you must also eat and have a place to sleep. And time to sleep.

@Dragu @lackyluuk well 'im colour blind, so I can't tell if the led is green or red or god knows what. But i did get the hifiberry card in ES. No RCA cables yet at hand, but i'm sure it works. Tested on a fresh 17.11.10.2 on a pi2, using a DAC+ standard RCA version.

I DO have sound through the DAC

My simple step by step:

• had an img of 17.11.02, burnt it to the SD
• started the pi2, updated to 17.11.10.2
• made the 2 edits in /boot/config.txt
• rebooted
• and voilà
