Actually I spend much more time with modding and custom stuff than with playing

Problem when you offer your time on internet, it is very quick seen as social sevice, I make this experience in germany but sure eveywhere the same. People dont realize that you must also eat and have a place to sleep. And time to sleep.

@Dragu @lackyluuk well 'im colour blind, so I can't tell if the led is green or red or god knows what. But i did get the hifiberry card in ES. No RCA cables yet at hand, but i'm sure it works. Tested on a fresh 17.11.10.2 on a pi2, using a DAC+ standard RCA version.

I DO have sound through the DAC

My simple step by step:

• had an img of 17.11.02, burnt it to the SD
• started the pi2, updated to 17.11.10.2
• made the 2 edits in /boot/config.txt
• rebooted
• and voilà

Hi,
I have a hifiberry DAC+ with jack connector, but free RCA soldering pinholes.
So I guess, it is the same as you. But you cannot tell me that nobody changed no code on this recently ? My luck that @lackyluuk has the same problem, so I am not standing there as fool

I have the HifiBerry DAC+, HW 1.0.
It should be the same as @Dragu but not with the Jack but with the RCA connectors soldered to it.

@Substring Okay, I tested with another RPi3.

• downloaded latest recalbox build -> installed
• mounted Hifiberry DAC+
• Removed dtparam=audio=on from config.txt
• Added dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus to config.txt
• rebooted

Nothing happens! No LED is on, no card is visible in ES..maybe the card is kaput?
