If you opened the forum on your smartphone, just click on the three dashes in the upper left corner, next to the Recalbox logo, and you'll find several options, including search.

Thanks a lot for your information!

I checked the links and I'd say, yes that helps. I switched the emulator in the metadata to MAME2010 / 2015 and then it worked (I think liberto was selected as default and that did not work).

Thanks also to everyone and of course the french developer team for the amazing work. And yes, if there's translation or technical documentation, or maybe programming needed, I'm happy to contribute in the future.

Will a trackball not work then if I have 10 buttons and two joysticks already? Only game I would want it for is goldentee, but it may not be supported on recalbox or the raspberry pi. Haven't gotten that far.

NO. specifying a configfile means that the autoconfiguration will be disabled. You can make it for a single system, or blindly for the whole recalbox.
