I cant edit my post above... so edited2: I just configured everything in the gui using mouse and keyboard then saved configuration. Then I moved saved configuration to the main folder and renamed it as default one and then I ran genUAE script for all my games and it now works great

RE: uae4arm v0.5 - testrun under retropie4.1 by amiga professional
Hi, ok voljega I tried your "amiga solution" and it's great. But there is only one problem I have... Buttons and directions on my Arcade pad doesn't work. the only one key that works is "square" (or X in xbox controller) which quits emulator. The keyboard and mouse is working fine. What can I do with it?
edited: I forgot I have uae4arm gui, but when I select the correct stick and save config it doesnt save, I have to set all again at start each time. Hmm maybe I will try to exchange saved config with the default one...

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@derschatten First of all, make sure you configured your controller in recalbox menu, and selected it by name in P1 input. In my case it also matters - make sure your controller is plugged into rpi before you start the machine, not when it is already on. Then just check all the buttons

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@ratte So, I checked overscan_pal.uae config file.. There are two entries that are interesting:
button_for_menu=-1
gfx_correct_aspect=0Do anyone know how can I get corrent value for button menu and what is the correc value for the gfx aspect 4:3 ?
Can I use filters/masks like in winUAE? -
RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@derschatten all the cd32 buttons works on my pad and arcade stick works fine

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@ratte Yup, I've made those .cues before after conversion , but I made a mistake, as orignal .img files had .cues MODE1/2352. After changing that to 2048 it works now flawlessly
BTW: Is there ANY (other than F12 - my wireless keyboard doesnt have function keys) way to enter Uae4all gui or just stick to editing .cfg files to change ratio etc?

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@dragu I don't think that official 20 years old specifications of the hardware solutions matters today, as it all works in winuae. It's only a matter of config files or emulators in this case. I think something went wrong during converting. This made me to one conclusion - when I editedt start.sh to recognize .cue instead of .iso, can I leave img/cue format, as the cue is a "starter"? Does the uae4all will recognize .img?

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@voljega I still can't wait for the final version, but I will try Your solution to the Amiga emulation tomorrow

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@dragu I used the same roms, like I wrote before - dumped originals (single games in cue/iso format) works. Unofficial compilations (200 Games for CD32 or CD32-444) doesn't work for me, maybe because I obtained those in cue/img format and made a mistake in converting those to cue/iso? Maybe someone knows how to do it properly?

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
@voljega I have read Your whdload thread many times, I have huge collection of the whdloads in WinUAE, but I was afraid how it can be complicated in Recalbox (because of the policy to be user-friendly - I know - paradox). Its easy under WinUAE but it seems to be too complicated in Recalbox. ...or maybe I'm wrong?

RE: AMIGA CD32 EMULATION - HOW TO -
I tracked all the posts in this thread, made everything with the instructions, I even converted my cue/imgs to isos and made new cues for them, but still when I try to load something it always throw me back to recalbox. I edited start.th, made all the changes... It still doesn't work at all. Am I missing something?

Always read readme.txt
"RENAME YOUR REQ. EMULATOR AT:
...\CD32-Beta\usr\bin\uae4arm
uae4arm-rpi1
uae4arm-rpi2
uae4arm-rpi3
(rename your req. version to "uae4arm" and delete the unused two other versions)"Official relased games work now (I mean that one that are .cue/.iso "originally" downloaded. Unofficial "collections" converted from .cue/.img to iso and with manual made .cues doesn't work for me. But I can now play Banshee! Thanks Ratte!

RE: 4.1 stable: Bluetooth Lag
Yep, I was testing it when I was staying like 1,5m from the pi and I'm using internal BT.

4.1 stable: Bluetooth Lag
Hi, I have third party ps3 controller that is only seen by recalbox when I change config to controllers.ps3.driver=official (gasia sixaxis). So I've done that, the controller is paired, everything works in menu. In emulators I have HUGE input lag. And I mean really huge, like 2-3 seconds and its getting even worse when I do reconnect mid-game. Is there something I can do to fix that?

RE: Recalbox 4.1 Stable C64 Controls buggy?
@vincent-preis ok, there is no reason to tinker in configs. You just have to set your actual controller in recalbox controller config (change default to actual name of controller in use) and that's it.

RE: Recalbox 4.1 Stable C64 Controls buggy?
Is there any vice core specific config anywhere or only those few lines in /share/system/configs/retroarch/cores/retroarch-core-options.cfg ?

RE: Recalbox 4.1 Stable C64 Controls buggy?
@substring C64 was Easilly controlled without a mouse and now we have virtual keyboard so...
Anyway - out of a box the c64 emulator is completelly useless - for me anyway. Ofcourse it shows the Basic screen, tries to load something (but it fails and shows typical c64 memory garbage on the screen even when trying to load simple .prg file). I managed to enter the vice GUI somehow too, mouse is working but You can't set any options as no buttons work, You can't even resume emulation - only esc button helps and it brings you back to the recalbox menu. Its the same in virtual keyboard.I'll try to tinker with default vice core config and will report back.

RE: Error: Resizing Existing FAT Partition
@substring Didn't know that there is such option Thanks I'll try that.
IT WORKED! There was no resizing existing Fat Partition Error. I just transfered Noobs lite installer files on the card and installed recalbox easily over the net. It was the best and easy way to do that, thanks Substring
-
RE: Error: Resizing Existing FAT Partition
@substring The card is clean Im not talking about dual booting here
-
RE: Error: Resizing Existing FAT Partition
@gothrek I wrote it about the card to underline that retropie worked on it and there was no problems with resizing partition, I don't want to use two systems. There should be .img version of recalbox.

RE: Error: Resizing Existing FAT Partition
You know what? Everybody's writing how recalbox is easier to install than retropie. I used retropie for about a year and wanted to try recalbox on the same card I had retropie. It's a nightmare to install it, when I'm writing this text I tried all of the methods mentioned above - neither worked and my card is original and compatibile. I still didn't achieved after about 8 hours of trying different format tools. It's impossible and the MYTH of user friendy recalbox has fallen. I'm dissapointed.
