Thanks, but recalbox was updated a weeks ago and emulationstation it's the same...

As far as I know the changes to ES haven't been implemented yet, as soon as they are then I can begin porting the theme. It would be a waste of time to try and port it before then.

I was waiting for some changes to be added to recalbox so that I can port the theme correctly (carousel improvements for example) - have those changes been included in the latest version?

@ruckage They still haven't fixed the WSOD bug in ES either. Once that's sorted I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of nicer themes on Recalbox.

@gaetan White Screen of Death. If you have a heavy theme and a lot of systems it will cause EmulationStation to become unsable. Retropie fixed it a long time ago but Recalbox still has the issue marked open.

I'm trying to build a theme inspired by Super Mario All Stars game menu. Something simple like 6-pak theme inspired by Sega catridge that I found here. Any advices to a starter?

Yeah, the main changes I would need are the carousel customisation. Assuming its the same as on Retropie you can customise pretty much everything - position, bar height, bar width, bar colour, orientation (horizontal or vertical), Icon size, icon scaling factor, etc.
