@ruckage They still haven't fixed the WSOD bug in ES either. Once that's sorted I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of nicer themes on Recalbox.

This theme was designed to be used with video snaps so it doesn't really work well with Recalbox. I am working on a similarly designed theme that works better with mix images.

@substring I am confused by the licensing too. Are you saying that the Recalbox-Next theme may not be modified at all or just that if a theme is a modification of Recalbox-Next you must use the same licensing terms and credit the original author(s)?

@cosmo0 I noticed your program wasn't finding a lot of the overlays for my games. It turns out I was using the U.S. versions of many roms and the software is only looking for the parent rom, which is usually the "World" version. For example, I had sf2ceua.zip for Street Fighter II: Champion Edition and it wouldn't add the overlay. When I replaced it with the "World" version sf2ce.zip it worked fine. If people are having similar problems that might be why.

@horotony Re-scrape them with UXS and set it to use the filename in the gamelist.xml

It is my understanding that they are aware of the bug and will correct it in the next release.

@gaetan White Screen of Death. If you have a heavy theme and a lot of systems it will cause EmulationStation to become unsable. Retropie fixed it a long time ago but Recalbox still has the issue marked open.
