Exit emulator with one button press vía gpio

@DjLeChuck We could include @supernature2k s script into the article i posted above. This article is in general about interacting with emulators through the retroarch network commands. Instead of having multiple articles spreaded around we could have all in the same place. What do you think?

@DjLeChuck I only try to keep the articles in a clean way to prevent confiusion so that many question can be answered ( I also want to write / change an article for the right image installation, because lot of people have problems with it )

If someone can confirm that @supernature2k s script is working like this above, then I can try to implement this in a proper way

@supernature2k's script still requires a "better integration" to work in recalbox (he knows what i expect from him). The idea i'd love is to have a confg file saying :

action=stopEmulators
[GPIO25]
action=shutdownSystem

such a thing
I find it pointless to cumulate python scripts to handle GPIO when all should be gathered into 1 single place

Well, to be fair i dont have internet in my house, just internet in my phone (bring independiente sucks....)
So...i want to know...is there a way to use The script without internet?

Some says that The script doesnt use WiFi, and others says that it uses....

So...maybe is there an option?

@8bit_astronaut Your question was about internet with recalbox and the answer is no, internet is not needed ^^
However, internet is required for the scripts I linked above (but you can edit them to remove the need by replacing wget commands by mv commands for example).

BUT the script from supernature2k doesn't need internet and is better so go with it!

If I have removed the script from the community it will have been for some reason. I have not authorized anyone for publication. I doubt Google's cache is designed for your use of it. I would appreciate consistency with your own rules and not post in the forum / community things that its author withdrew. The script is very simple, basic and full of errors, so, what if some programmer writes code instead of rummaging in the garbage?

@Bug first of all, do not be a coward and try to justify what you did. You didn't only removed everything you wrote (including the scripts and wiki page), but also practically erased your register from the forum. That means, you were hidding. Your intentions...? After our last private talk, I suspect you want do build cabinets for sell and have that script as a bait for your "customers".
Secondly, if you have no idea what open source is about, you can google it! You made that code public, willingly, for free (not that I would pay for it). Anyone is allowed to use it as they want according to the way you chose.
We are not discussing about if your code is garbage or not, someone just found a way to revert the mess up you built.
I might add that I took the time to review your code and asked other real programmers to do the same. And you paid us back erasing everything! Without any comment, and deleting your account! From the depths of my guts and as we say in Spanish: "Que hijo de puta!"
