Solved Cannot change SNES keyboard mapping

Hello!

I'm fairly new to this, so please forgive me if that's intended and I'm trying to do weird stuff.

I have a RPi3, using recalboxOS 4.0.0-beta5 and a USB keyboard to start with.
When I booted, EmulationStation started and I went straight to Controller configuration to create key bindings that I could work with (X, S; Y, A -> A, B, X, Y e.g.), then started a SNES game and wasn't quite satisfied with the mappings. So I went back to EmulationStation and changed the controls, and in EmulationStation everything was fine. However the SNES emulator did not update the mappings. (yes, have tried turning it off and on again!)

So...will I ever be able to change my keyboard mappings in the SNES emulator again?

No, Recalbox is not designed to use a keyboard for game controls only joysticks and gamepads

@bolli recalbox isn't planned to be used with a keyboard, but gamepads. If a keyboard works with an emulator is only because the original developers (of the emulator itself) made it that way, but that isn't something recalbox supports. Long story shott... get a gamepad

Allright, thanks for the replies! Gamepad is already shipped, but it's gonna take a few days (coming from Japan)
