GPICASE 2W - PI zero 2W - Screen glitch
-

@fr4nc3sc0 I'm also learning about this issue! Is it a broken screen?
-
Hello, this is a known issue without any real way to fix it right now. Try to use the provided theme
recalbox-goa2
.Nothing is broken, it's sort of incompability without any reason.
-
@Pitch64 could you be more specific.
What is incompatible with what in this particular case ?
I am also impacted with this issue.
Thanks
-
@Pitch64 Im having the same issue. Offset screen, freezing screen and needing to reset. It also affects other themes too.
-
All I can say for now is we are working on it
-
@warpedpipe Hi, I'm having the same problem too but isn't there a solution to solve this problem? I have a Gpi case2w

-
for now my best way for not get this issue, it's use my mister theme

I had this problem from day 1 on installing Recalbox 9.1 on my GPI case 2W.
I now have upgraded to 9.2 but still the same problem persists.
I also ordered a new screen and replaced it, but sufferes from the same issue. So it is a software timing issue of some sort that needs to be looked into.
Maybe it is related to the hdmi_timings? Can anyone point out if there is any kind of delay or something that can be changed there? For me, this issue occurs only when exiting an emulator (i.e. gameboy advanced) and returning to the main screen.
To make the screen go normal again, I need to fully shut down the unit. Restart fixes the screen, but makes all the controls not working, so only a full shut down fixes it. -

I tried this theme, seems that the glitch it not there anymore, but the theme is too simple, no game info or images. Can you make another theme to include the game details and images?

Recalbox is open-source, feel free
-
@Magaki I really want to, but have no idea about what is the issue here. The only thing I want to find out is if it is a timing issue related to hdmi_timings.
-
The issue is https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/5780

Geatings all!
We have a working workaround that will be made available in the fore-coming 9.2.2.
David.
