Hi, from ifconfig i can see my wlan0 but i can't receive an ip from dhcp even if i have specify my ssid and password on recalbox.conf I have tried to setup a static ip as written here https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Manual-IP-settings-(EN), if i restart the network i can ping my raspy but if i reboot the system, the config is not permanent, what's wrong?

i have changed my ssid to SKYNET nothing changes, on dhcp i still get 0.0.0.1 as ip i use WPA2-PSK [AES] for password encryption. i have edited only recalbox.conf file ..is it right?

I had issues connecting to my WIFI and or accessing recalbox webinterface   My configuration was like this...... ISP modem (wifi off) > Netgear router (no password / MAC filtering ) > Repeater (WPA password )   I was able to connect to the repeater with my RP3, but  I could not remote or access shared folder from my computer ( connected to the same repeater ) I attempted to connect to my Netgear router ( from the recalbox GUI) it did not allowed me to connect ( Wifi configuration error ) I then added password to my Netgear router, and everything works like a charm 😄   So my new setup is like this........   ISP modem (wifi off) > Netgear router (WPA + MAC filtering )   **TL;DR  ** Try adding password to your wifi network or update from WEP or WPA, reboot and try again 🙂

0zzy, i have the same problem on raspberry py 3, even with recalbox or with retropie, i tried to remove router password and force channel to 6, router was 10 m of distance and signal was very strong, with raspbian wifi works, but with recalbox or retropie nothing to do. i opened those threads

@0zzy try turning off the wifi go back to the main menu, re-enter the wifi configuration and turn on the wifi, and press back. Repeat until you get "wifi enable"

My router had switched to channel 13 and I read it doesn't work for some reason. I've set it back to 10. Now works again!
