HDMI to rca issues..

I bought this on ebay because my brother doesn't have an hdmi hookup on his tv... my tv does not receive a signal when i hook the chord up but it has no issues with my hdmi to hdmi hookup..

@jonjon1977 Composite can hardly transmit anything higher than 640x480. Don't expect 1080p to work on such a cable. You should aim something like CEA6 or CEA 8 to start.

@Substring cea6, cea8? Sry i don't understand, looked up cae6 and cae8 with no results ... If the TV my brother has only connects rca wires how should I set it up.
