@marcdk 4.1-unstable coming from a 4.0.2 upgrade or img file ?
Anyway, installation files are available if you really can't read the upgrade in next hours.You can try to start the upgrade script on debug with ssh :
bash -x /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-upgrade.sh

This solved all problems. I was able to update from 4.1 unstable to stable this way.

-
@paradadf arch ? on the pc via samba , reicast folder
for copying roms to dreamcast folder -
@plootje I mean, rpi0,1,2,3, x86, odroid... And the folder isn‘t called reicast, but dreamcast

@paradadf sorry, on raspberry 2

I installed 4.0.0 a couple of months ago while the update server was done. Is it possible to upgrade to 4.0.1 or 4.0.2. so I can then update to 4.1.0?
Also, on the Drastic topic, the author recently said that he's considering releasing an opensource-ish licensed version for use on only the raspberry pi. Even if he doesn't, would it be possible for some sort of script to download, install, and setup Drastic, and thus push the legal responsibility of disturbing Drastic away from Recalbox onto the user?
-
@plootje Dreamcast is not supported on a RPi 2. You need at least a RPi 3. Please check the system compatibility list:
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Board-Compatibility-(EN) -
@dh04000 I don't think 4.0.2 is still distributed over OTA. It's highly recommended to do a clean install of 4.1
-
@lackyluuk if i change the rpi2 tp rpi3 do inhave to install everyting again ?
-
@plootje Yes, because it installs a different OS version for each supported hardware, i think. You cannot just switch the SD card.
If I am wrong please correct me -
@plootje the real idea would be to use the scripts inside recalbox to save your user data on a USB key, install recalbox for Pi3 to a new SD, and then plug this key and leave it on your Recalbox.

Hello all! I've got problem after updating system. I upgraded the RecallBox 4.0.1 to 4.1 operating system and now it is very slow also on main menu. And I see 100% 4th core loading. What I did wrong? PS: I'm using CRT TV and on 4.0.1 version I've played perfect.
-
@ledrunning Hi i have the same problem. in HDMI works perfect in crt tv i have bad sound quality and bad performance. In 4.0.2 it works great. Try update and new install, the result is the same.
Pd: sorry for my english.
