Recalbox won't save any setting like favorites or emulator parameter for a ROM

Hello,
I made different searches in different languages before asking here and haven't found anything.

My problem is very simple: recalbox won't save any setting like favorites or emulator parameter for a ROM.
I have downloaded pre-scrapped compilations of roms for each emulators, I don't know if it's connected. Those compilations came up with a pre-defined list of favorites.
It seems like after tweaking favorites and rom parameters, it won't save. When I restart recalbox, it's back to the previous state.

Any idea?

I can open the files without any error from my computer.

@stamstamstam you can use a tool like this one to verify your gamelists:
https://www.xmlvalidation.com/

But I'll asume, it is more related to an incompatible (not well adapted) theme, than something with the gamelists. Try turning back to the official one.

I never changed the theme, I dont even know how to do that
Just in case, where can I check this?

I checked xml file, no error was found.

Under menu, UI settings, themes.
Did you make a clean install of recalbox yourself (I'm not talking about the system, not the roms)?

Just checked: I only have the base theme installed (recalbox).

As explained in the OP, I downloaded packs for 4.0 version of recalbox, everything works fine except this.

I would delete all scraped data and do it again. No idea what else you can try.
