I am using the version 17.12.2 in my Raspberry Pi3 and I want to upgrade it to the latest version (18.07.13) keeping my files. How can I do that? The update's message didn't appear yet.

Mano, qual o modelo da sua TV? As vezes a sua tv (é quase certo que seja isso) não suporta a resolução do recalbox. Se aparece aquela tela inicial branca com "press shift to setup" é bem certo que seja isso.

Tenta seguir o passo a passo desse tutorial. Aqui funcionou!

I'm using the 17.12.02 upgrade of the recalbox 4.1.
When I pair the controller using X+Home (the gamepad mode) the recalbox does not recognize the controller as a controller. Then, when I press A+home while the controller is connected with the recalbox, the system reads the controller as a Keyboard that I can configure the buttons but it does not work on the games.

How can I fix it?

@upurii Ami, l'oublier! Je fixe le problème ici mettre le bios PSX (Recherche sur Google où télécharger) dans les « bios » de recalbox.

Recently I leraned in this forum how to change the recalbox's resolution to work at my TV ( its only suported 1080p) and I did it! The problem is when I push HOTKEY+START to leave the game appears a black screen (the same that appears when I was with the wrong resolution). How can i fix it?

Oww! I have to change it on the console?! That's the reason i wasnt doing right...

@paradadf Ok! I did all the things that u said. I used the WinSCP opened the directory like the manual tolds me, use the comand:" mount -o remount,rw /boot" but I havent see the boot folders yet. I looked for some "config.txt" but I found the recalbox-config.txt and I didnt found the line that the manual told me to change (hdmi_drive).

@paradadf I really cant found this folder. Is there on /recalbox/share when I open the recalbox by my PC? Or I have to open the recalbox on the web by the Ip adress?

@paradadf I dont know where i do this! Where is the boots folder?

The recalbox is working fine in almost TVs here. But there is one tv, actually my room's tv, that when I turn on the Pi3 the inicialization screen appears but when the recovery screen disappears there is no image from the recalbox. I know that this Tv doesnt work with high values of resolution ( in the xbox, I have to put on the low resolution to works on this tv ) but I dont know how to change the recalbox's resolution. I tried to change this:

CEA 5 HDMI : 1920x1080 @ 60Hz 16:9, clock:74MHz interlaced

CEA 4 HDMI : 1280x720 @ 60Hz 16:9, clock:74MHz progressive

on the system config, but it wasnt effective.

I read the recalbox's manual and found this:

"You must connect the recalbox on a DVI screen but you have a black screen ?

Just edit the config.txt file, and comment the line
hdmi_drive=2
with a # :
#hdmi_drive=2

On recalbox v4.0.0, /bootpartition is on read-only.
So before editing your config.txt, you must mount your /boot partition with read-write rights.
Go on root acces, then type this command : mount -o remount, rw /boot"

But I didnt find this adress (/boot)!

Yes, but when I started the games my tv was hiding this message. When I put the system into another tv I saw this message.

Actually I didnt buy this. I installed by my own and now I fix this problem. Its a Bios problem. Its just a matte to put the psx bios in the recalbox's Bios folder (/recalbox/share/bios)

I use recalbox v4.0 in the pi3. I didnt change anything at my folders excepted the roms and now when I play some psx game, the message "No Bios found. Expected bugs" appears. How do I fix it?

I tried all the roms and always the same problems. I dont know what i have to do...

Open the Recalbox menu (Hotkey+B) under Quick Settings>Options select the gamepad type.

There is 3 types: Standard, Analog, neog (something like this) I tried the 3 and none works....
