@reflectedsoul I think this is a known bug (mentioned in the first post of this thread), isn't it?
- Cannot go beyond the clock settings on Reicast (Dreamcast)
FR(I'm in France) and 5G WiFi started working perfectly ✨
I hope it'll work for you as well as it did for me 🤗
@marcus_972 To avoid losing all your games next time, you can configure Recalbox to use an external drive (usually a USB drive) to store them (and your configuration). Next system update will only update the OS (you may have to configure it again after update to use the external USB drive, though). See @Fab2Ris tutorial #5 on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65deA8c-stM
I'm just leaving this here because it may help people with WiFi stability issues:
I've been running the Christmas Beta (and a build from latest
master) on a RasPi3b+ connected to a WiFi 5GHz network (a.k.a. 5G WiFi) with a lot of stability issues (hard disconnections every 5 minutes, bash autocomplete very slow when connected via SSH, web manager randomly failing to load pages, ...).
I found 2 ways of solving the problem, both work well so far:
recalbox.conf(the default is
US, I'm in France, setting it to
FRbrought stability back, even on the 5G network)
It's not really a bug, more a misconfiguration I should have checked, but I hope it can help some people here.
@sumofoneinteger I'm seeing the exact same behaviour (from a freshly built image on a Pi3b+). It looks like
hashlib is not working properly with Python 2.7. I'm trying to figure out why and will post a merge request if I succeed.
Looks like your connection to Recalbox Forum was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
